The Scientific Research Committee is a specialized unit that supports and encourage scientific research activities of the college staff and management and development of the postgraduate programs at the college. The committee is composed of different faculty members of each department at the college who are actively publishing scientific research. The committee is directly linked to the college’s Dean.

Duties:

• Preparing and carry out the scientific research plan at the college level.
• Following up faculty members in the achievement and dissemination of scientific research in distinct publishing media outlets.
• Encouraging faculty and student researchers to conduct innovative research and contributing to the creation of research facilities and possibilities for them.
• Supervising scientific conferences, specialized seminars, workshops, and public meetings, and following up communication with the college departments regarding these activities.
• Working on adapting the college fields of scientific research in order to serve the community in accordance with the vision of the university and thus Saudi Vision 2030.
• Establishing a database unit in the college for research projects (university funding, external funding), articles published in the local and international journals, for the sake of reviewing and encouraging the progress of scientific research at the college.
